Straight answers about how buying works, what this site handles, and what it does not. Where something is decided at checkout rather than here, this page says so instead of guessing.
Buying the books
Orders & Checkout
How do I buy a Poker Life book?
Open the books page, use “View details” to learn more, then add the title to your cart. The cart icon at the top of the page takes you to one shared order review for all selected books.
What does a book cost?
The listed price appears on each book card and in the cart. Shipping, taxes, and any applicable fees are confirmed during secure Stripe checkout.
What format is the book — print, ebook, or audio?
Each book’s Poker Life details view includes its current overview. If anything is not clear after you have looked, ask through the contact page before buying.
How and when will I receive my order?
Delivery and timing are not published on this site, and quoting a timeframe that has not been committed to would not be fair to you. What happens after payment is set out by the product and checkout details on the Stripe page.
If you need to confirm delivery before ordering, ask first through the contact page.
Is checkout secure? What happens to my card details?
The cart is handled on Poker Life; payment is handled by Stripe on Stripe’s own pages. Eligible options may include cards, Apple Pay, and Link. This website does not collect or store card details.
Can I get a refund or exchange?
There is no published refund or returns policy on this site, so no guarantee is being made here either way. Any terms that apply are the ones presented at checkout.
For a specific order, get in touch through the contact page and it can be looked at directly.
Are the books sold anywhere else, like Amazon?
Each book’s details and direct-checkout pages include an optional Amazon search link as an alternative. Poker Life direct checkout remains the primary option; availability, pricing, and delivery on other retailers are controlled by those retailers.
Do you offer bundles or discounts on multiple books?
Use the shared cart to collect more than one book. The cart creates one secure Stripe checkout for all selected titles.
Poker Life gear
Apparel & Accessories
Can I buy the hoodies, shirts, caps, and tumblers?
Gear is currently a preview of the upcoming Poker Life collection. It will be added to the cart once its official prices, product details, and secure payment setup are ready.
When will gear be available?
No launch date is published yet. Check the contact page for the latest availability status.
Learning & the author
Books, Articles, Coaching
Which book should I start with?
It depends on the games you actually play. The catalogue spans strategy, tournament play, poker math, reading opponents, and the mental side of the game, and each card carries a one-line summary of its angle.
The articles page is a free way to see the approach before buying. For a recommendation, describe your games on the contact page.
Who writes these books?
Larry McCracken, who has spent more than 25 years in poker as a player, dealer, poker room manager, and author. There is more on the About Larry page.
Will these books make me a winning player?
No book can promise that, and this one will not pretend otherwise. Poker involves real money and significant short-term luck, and results over any small sample say more about variance than about skill.
What the books aim to do is improve the quality of your decisions, which is the part of the game you control.
Do you offer coaching or courses?
They are listed as coming soon, which means there is nothing to book or buy at the moment — no sessions, no prices, no waitlist system behind the scenes. You can register interest by writing through the coaching enquiry section of the contact page.
Do the articles cost anything?
No. Everything on the articles page is free to read, with no sign-up.

Newsletter, Forms & Contact
I signed up for the newsletter — did it work?
No. The newsletter form is not connected to a mailing list yet. When you submit it, the confirmation you see is generated in your own browser and nothing is sent, stored, or subscribed. The form is in place ready for a mailing service to be connected later.
Does the contact form actually send a message?
Not yet. Like the newsletter form, it runs locally in your browser and has no mail service behind it, so nothing is transmitted or saved. The contact page states this on the form itself rather than showing a false “message sent” confirmation.
What is the email address or phone number?
No email address, phone number, or postal address is published on this site, and inventing one would only send your message nowhere. The contact page describes the situation honestly rather than listing details that have not been provided.
My question is not answered here.
That is what the contact page is for. Anything to do with a specific order, a delivery, a refund, formats, or gear availability is better answered directly than guessed at on this page.
At a glance: the shared cart uses Stripe for combined secure book checkout. Gear, newsletter delivery, coaching, and courses remain coming soon.
